DJ Nonna's Terms and Conditions
1. General Overview These Terms and Conditions govern the booking, provision of mobile wood-fired pizza catering, event production, and entertainment services by DJ Nonna’s Pizzeria. By completing the checkout process, paying a deposit, or confirming a booking, the Client agrees to be bound by these terms.

2. Bookings, Deposits, and Payment
-
Securing a Date: A non-refundable deposit is required at checkout to secure your event date. Your booking is not confirmed until this deposit is received.
-
Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 14 days prior to the event date.
-
Guest Count: Final guest numbers must be confirmed 14 days prior to the event. The final invoice will be based on this number. Reductions in guest numbers after this date will not alter the final invoice.
Â
3. Cancellations
-
Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the event will result in a forfeiture of the deposit only.
-
Cancellations made within 14 to 30 days of the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the total booking cost.
-
Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will result in forfeiture of the full payment, as wholesale ingredients, staffing, and logistics will have already been finalized.
Â
4. Site Access and Operational Requirements
-
Vehicle Access: The Client must ensure adequate access, turning clearance, and a flat, level, and stable parking space suitable for a large commercial catering vehicle (standard dimensions of a Ford Transit 350L).
-
Safety Clearances: The operating site must have safe overhead clearance, free from low-hanging branches or flammable structures, to safely operate the wood-fired oven.
-
Power Supply: Dedicated access to standard electrical power is required to run our DJ equipment, lighting, and refrigeration. If power is unavailable at the site, the Client must notify us in advance so generator arrangements can be made (additional fees may apply).
Â
5. Food Service and Dietary Requirements
-
Service Window: Wood-fired pizza catering is provided for the agreed-upon duration stated in the booking. Delays caused by the Client or venue may reduce the active service window.
-
Allergies and Dietary Needs: We can accommodate standard dietary requests with prior notice. However, as our pizzas are prepared in a shared mobile environment, we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment (including gluten or specific nuts). The Client must provide details of any severe allergies at least 14 days prior to the event.
Â
6. Entertainment, Event Production, and Equipment
-
Performance Space: A safe, dry, and covered area must be provided for all AV gear, DJ controllers, and musical equipment if the setup is located outside the vehicle.
-
Equipment Protection: The Client accepts financial responsibility for any damage caused to DJ Nonna’s Pizzeria equipment (including sound systems, lighting, and silent disco headsets) by the Client’s guests.
-
Noise Restrictions: It is the Client's responsibility to manage venue noise restrictions and ensure all local council noise ordinances and permits are adhered to.
Â
7. Staffing and Youth Training Initiatives
-
DJ Nonna’s Pizzeria proudly supports community development by offering youth training opportunities in hospitality and music production. As part of our service, young trainees may be present and assisting at your event, operating at all times under the direct, strict supervision of our experienced professional staff.
Â
8. Liability and Force Majeure
-
DJ Nonna’s Pizzeria shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes extreme weather events (such as total fire bans or severe storms affecting the safe operation of the wood-fired oven or electrical equipment), traffic incidents, or sudden illness.
-
In the unlikely event that we must cancel our services due to such circumstances, a full refund will be provided.
Â
9. Governing Law
-
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
